An iPhone kids application you should check out is iStoryTime. It’s a library of narrated and illustrated kids books for the iPhone. There are 6 books available in the Apple AppStore today: http://www.istorytimeapp.com/appstore With new ones coming out every week.
Great for driving in the car, on the airplane, or at a restaurant waiting for the bill when the kids are going crazy.
Books are $1.99/ea from iTunes and can also be purchased on your phone from anywhere. Great for entertaining the kids in a guilt free way. All the wholesomeness of a book with the convenience of your phone.
Enjoy!

here it is http://bit.ly/topParentsApps
FYI we donate 100% of our apple affiliate commission to charity: water
so this is for a good cause

Great collection of apps! We just released a collection of apps we’re quite proud of – Hippo Hooray. Hippo Hooray Colors, Shapes, and Letters are great ways to help young children learn their colors, shapes, and letters as well as keep them entertained.
We’d love any feedback you have!

I use the Andesigned Total Baby. I love it! I just wrote a thorough review on it on my blog. The only problem is that I am totally lost without it. I’m so reliant on it that I haven’t trained my brain to memorise breast feeding times or which was the last breast I fed on! It’s really reassuring too when you are giving your baby medicine periodically – you can be sure you haven’t written the time incorrectly or miscalculated the hours because it’s recorded against your phone clock with a few taps in the app.

Hi – I have another iPhone app for the list! PhotoList is an app for organizing and sharing pictures – perfect for proud parents.
PhotoList is $1.99 and lets you share your pictures online through any web browser, or over email. You can also move pictures easily between your iPhone and computer with the simple ftp function. No more wires or emailing pictures to yourself; your baby pictures are now as easy to share as they are to snap.
The app lets you label, group and save pictures too.
Hope you enjoy!

Have you heard of iKidNY? It’s a brand new app for parents and it is incredible! So helpful and easy to use! It gives directions to the closest changing tables, kid friendly restaurants, playgrounds, indoor play areas and subway station elevators (key for my stroller)!! I love it!

A great new app for parents with babies. Baby Safe Monitor is a new app that turns your iphone into the ultimate baby monitor with full video/audio anywhere anytime. Unlike all the other apps that either just redirect messages with noise or use local network, this app is the only one you can watch live and even take photos or video of your baby from anywhere in the world. Night vision, everything. You can either use your own compatible camera, lap top or buy the awesome recommended baby safe camera. Very expensive app US$39 but when compared to baby monitors on the market for what it does its GREAT value.

My wife has been using the Milk Monitor App http://www.itunes.com/apps/milkmonitor and she loves it – a real lifesaver! Milk Monitor makes tracking breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, sleeping, medication and diapers as simple as possible. One of the best apps I’ve seen on iPhone – it’s so simple you can use it with your eyes closed.

Love you line-up! “Alphababy” and “I hear Ewe” are great free apps as well. For moms, you can check another great free—Intuition (www.iconapps.com) aka “mom’s personal assistant”. Task management tool that simplifies Mom’s busy schedules.

Baby Goggles is a great iPhone app for new parents who wish they could see the world through their baby’s eyes. Baby Goggles uses an image distortion algorithm that distorts the image based on your baby’s age (newborn to 6 months). Simply snap a picture with your iPhone camera, adjust the age bar according to your baby’s age (newborn to 6 months), and Baby Goggles will distort the image to make it look the way it looks to your baby. Take a picture of yourself from your baby’s viewpoint, and Baby Goggles will show you how you look to your little one. This is a fun and fascinating app that allows you to understand your baby’s life – see what your infant sees when they look at a picturebook or up at a mobile; see how he sees you; or use Baby Goggles to decorate his crib with toys that make a difference.
I’m using it to create a library of images that I will give to my child when he is older. Maybe for his 21st birthday, I’ll create a slideshow of the first things that he saw after he was born and the months following. Of course, he won’t remember these events or images, but I think it will be fun to show him what the world looked like to him when he was a little baby.

In early April 2011, we’re releasing “Animal Phone”, an app that allows your children aged 2-5 to enjoy the one thing they can’t do on your iPhone — use the phone.
Call Graham the Gorilla, Kelly the Kangaroo. They talk to you, repeat what you say, and interact when you touch them.
