In little more than the time it takes to toast up some frozen waffles, you can make this fun, fruity breakfast. Don’t have any berries on-hand? Substitute any fresh chopped fruit you like.

4 frozen whole grain waffles
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
6 ounces Neufchatel cream cheese
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup blueberries

1. Toast the waffles according to package directions.

2. While the waffles toast, place the yogurt, cream cheese, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon in a blender. In a medium bowl, combine the strawberries and blueberries.

3. Top each waffles with a half cup of the berry mixture and 2 tablespoons of the yogurt topping. Serve.

Makes 4 servings
