  1. I can’t believe you are not warning parents of the danger of Vitamin A that many companies are putting in their sunscreens. When exposed to the sun, Vitamin A breaks down and can actually cause cancer. The FDA came out with with warning over a year ago and yet most sunscreens still have it, even the baby ones, and parents are not aware that in trying to protect their children, they may be causing cancer. There are sunscreens without it but you really have to read the ingredients carefully.

  2. Thanks for the info on Vit A. I am actually apalled that not one of our health care providers have even mentioned sunscreens never mind all the chemicals that are in them (and other products we use regularly) Which sunscreen are you using?

  3. I should add that I have a three month old

  4. I am still checking and trying to figure out what to purchase for myself and my grandchildren, as many on the market still have Vitamin A. If you google the FDA information, there is a link to a site that rates them that you may find helpful.
