Katie Holmes Says Suri ‘Loves High Heels.’

Katie Holmes has sparked a lot of criticism lately for letting daughter Suri, 3, waltz around in high heels. Holmes recent explained her daughter’s foot fashion in an interview with Access Hollywood:

“She, like every little girl – she loves my high heels,” said Holmes, who says they’re not really high heels because they’re supportive. “They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them.”

Hmmm. You know what’s also supportive? Sneakers! Maybe she should try them.

What do you think? Are heels acceptable on little girls?

  1. I always loved playing dress-up when I was a little girl. But there is a point where you cross the line. This little girl should be wearing some supportive shoes! Her legs and feet are still growing and she could have problems with them later on. And what about letting this little girl dress like an adult? This is a CHILD! Geezzz…

  2. I think that as a parent you have to pick your battles. If there is no physical development issues, I say let the girl be a girl.

  3. The real question – how often does she really wear them? Every little girl has worn some sort of play heels or something once or twice. But they weren’t necessarily photographed 5,000 times when it happened.
