Celebrity Status: The actress, who is the daughter of Bill Hudson and Goldie Hawn (she calls Goldie’s longtime partner Kurt Russell “dad”) rose to fame as “Bande Aide” Penny Lane in the 2000 hit Almost Famous. Since then she’s gone on to star in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, You, Me and Dupreee, and the upcoming Bride Wars.

Relationship Status: Hudson married Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson on New Year’s Eve in 2000, but the couple officially divorced in 2007. Hudson has gone on to date Owen Wilson, Dax Shepard, and Lance Armstrong. Hudson counts her exes as “friends,” and believes it’s important to maintain relationships with significant people in your past. “It’s such a shame when people let their egos get in the way of what’s the most important thing,” said Hudson. “I feel like a lot of time someone’s pride is affected when a relationship ends.”

Who Calls Her Mama: Hudson and Robinson welcomed son Ryder into the world in 2004. On parenting, Hudson has said: “I always have that joke [that] you can only really understand as a parent when the other parent goes, ‘Oh my God, he said ‘pancake.” And the other person goes, ‘He did, he did?’ Only parents are so excited about the weirdest things. Most people who aren’t parents are like, ‘…Okay, he said pancake…’”
