The First Years Creates Car Seat Alert System
The First Years has introduces a parent-proof car seat, reports Fox News.
The IAlert system is installed in the True Fit Convertible Car Seat and will automatically send messages through a smart phone app if the seat is not installed properly, or the child becomes unbuckled. It also alerts parents if the temperature in the car is too hot or cold, or if their child was left in a parked car.
The purpose of this new feature is to not only keep parents informed when they are driving, but to alert them remotely in the case that their child is riding with another person.
The IAlert Convertible Car Seat goes on sale this fall. Pricing has not yet been announced.
