Mom Says: If you are at all thinking about cloth diapers, this is the product for you. It makes cloth diapering easy, efficient and neat. It took me a few tries to get the hang of properly folding the diapers, but once I got it, it was easy. A thin papery insert covers the cloth diaper to keep the moisture away from the baby. If you want to be completely environmentally friendly and keep everything out of the landfill, the paper inserts are flushable. I must admit I threw mine in the trash right near the changing table. The system comes with a cleverly designed receptacle for the dirty diapers. I have my system set up so I can easily dump the insert into the trash and the cloth diaper into the bin.
When I first got the Bambino Mio system I was worried about how it would deal with messy poops. The answer is that it handles them well! The outer covers do a great job of containing the mess. Then it is easy to plop the soiled cloth diaper into the laundry bin. The laundry bin has a bag inside that can easily be removed and thrown into the washing machine without ever having to touch the dirty diapers. The system comes with special laundry detergent to deal with the poop.
This easy to use system is a great way to do our part for the earth and help keep billions of disposable diapers out of landfills!
Pros: Easy to use and handles poops well.
Cons: Cloth diapers get very soggy if you leave on for too long (such as overnight). I started using two cloth diapers at night. It is bulky but works. It also takes a few more steps and organization to figure out how to use these diapers when out of the house. I have my home changing station well set-up. It is a little harder when on the go – you need a lot of plastic bags which is not so environmentally friendly but workable.

It seems like it would have made more sense to have a mom who already cloth diapers her children review this item. I'm curious how this item stacks up next to other cloth diaper brands, so this review does not help me at all.
